We left on December 4 for our winter vacation, spending a couple of days in chilly Wisconsin before heading to our vacation home in the warm and sunny south. We returned home in the late evening hours on December 22. It was a wonderful break and while we could have stayed longer I wanted to be home to spend Christmas with the kids and grandkids.

Mixed Feelings About My Gardens
My gosh, 2010 has been a year of many changes for us. With the purchase of a vacation home in a considerably warmer zone than here there was the excitement of new gardening experiences but at the same time I was saddened at the prospect of selling this house. Changing Times
Change is part of every gardener's life. At the moment many of us are dealing with changing climate issues that are changing the way we garden. This year may prove to be more change for us than we originally planned. If all goes according to plan I will be setting up 2 home gardens in 2 very different growing zones.
