Spring Days in the Garden
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. The reality is the gardens in our new home are proving difficult at best. I'm dealing with horrible soil that is mostly clay mixed with a lot of stone and rock along with inclimate weather. The gardens are at the point where I look at them then get frustrated because I simply don't know where to start. The problem is we really are still in the tearing out

Shots of Color
There is no better way to add fun to your decor then with shots of bold colors. This works especially well with bright whites. If you are confused about color, a good way to start is with your accessories, that way if your not happy with it, your not out a ton of money!

Earth Day

Clever Storage for Home Offices
If you live in a small space chances are you probably do not have much room for a home office. Most of us need some sort of place to pay bills and keep up with things. DFW won't see big home price declines

While North Texas' housing market decline has accelerated in recent months, analysts are still betting that the Dallas-Fort Worth area won't see measurable price declines. Indeed, the latest report from mortgage insurance firm PMI Group says that D-FW is one of the last places in the country likely to see a drop in home prices during the next couple of years. There's less than a 1 percent chance that home prices will fall here, according to PMI's spring risk index report, which was released Thursday. At the same time, PMI says that 13 of the nation's top housing markets have more than a 60 percent likelihood of home price declines. Full Story
